Your Responsibilities

In the role of Chemical Coordinator, you will primarily work on conducting chemical risk assessments according to Saab's chemical process. You will be responsible for chemical approvals and administer chemicals in Saabchem/iChemistry.

The work also includes:

• Conducting and coordinating chemical inventories.

• Participating in risk assessments of work processes involving chemicals.

• Supporting production with various chemical issues.

You will be part of a team of four occupational health and environmental specialists at Saab's sites in Linköping. The department consists of approximately 20 employees who also support operations in Karlskoga. The position is primarily located on-site in Malmslätt or Tannefors, with some opportunity for remote work.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone with an academic background in chemistry, environmental science, or another relevant field. As a person, you are curious, with a structured and meticulous work approach. Experience in risk assessments within occupational health or environmental issues, as well as experience with iChemistry, is an advantage.

Saab offers an introduction and training in its internal processes, so the most important thing is that you have the right foundational skills and a willingness to develop in the role.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, citizenship may be required.
